Art In The Heart, Lismore is led by Lismore City Council, in partnership with the business and wider community, to create a more vibrant Lismore City Centre, seven days a week.

Brand X (formerly Queen Street Studio) works with the City of Sydney to assist with finding short term creative and cultural projects temporary space in city-owned property as part of the Creative City Sydney program. They also currently manage Heffron Hall in Darlinghurst, The Palace Studio in Marrickville and L3 Central in Chippendale for the performing arts community, and Brand X Studio, a creative retail concept store in Surry Hills for the independent visual arts community.

Gocart, based in Forster, use empty shops on NSW's mid-North Cast with artists for a month-long art trail in April.


Hey Maker! (Murwillumbah) aims to bring pop up shops showcasing local creative talent to some of the vacant spaces in their town.

Kyogle Bazaar uses empty shops on the town's main street for Saturday art displays and demonstrations of local skills.


Merge Contemporary Artspace, North Ryde is a pop-up shop founded by Tegan O’Brien with support from Ryde City Council in conjunction with Macquarie Centre featuring local arists that runs until April 2013.


Mind the Gap - Pop Up Blue  Mountains is designed to catalyse community and economic renewal across the Blue Mountains through making empty shops available to creative industries.

Pop-up Wollongong is a partnership with local artists and Wollongong City Council staging pop up exhibitions and events during the annual Viva la Gong Festival.

Renew Leichhardt is lead by Renew Australia and Leichhardt Municipal Council and licenses commercial spaces that are between uses and matches them with small creative enterprises and independent local initiatives in Sydney's Leichhardt local government area.


Renew Moss Vale is lead by the Moss Vale Chamber of Commerce to help put life back into some of the empty shops in Moss Vale and aims to put artists, cultural projects, small businesses and community groups together with property owners to use and maintain these empty shops until they become commercially viable or are redeveloped.

Renew the Valley is a partnership with Bega Valley Shire Council and Renew Australia that aims to activate vacant commercial and retail spaces and bring vibrancy back to town centres.


The Rocks Pop Up is an ongoing program by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority to activate low cost creative spaces in Sydney's historic Rocks district.
