Working with the NSW planning system

Empty space initiatives are supported by the provisions of the NSW Department of Planning's Sydney Metropolitan and Regional Strategies for their potential to contribute to the revitalisation and renewal of centres and precincts.

This section contains advice on how empty space initiatives can work with the NSW planning system. It is adapted from Arts Revitalisation Projects and the Planning System published by the NSW Department of Planning, January 2010.
